{"id":3704,"date":"2019-10-07T10:27:42","date_gmt":"2019-10-07T14:27:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pidf.org\/\/?p=3704"},"modified":"2020-06-29T22:31:51","modified_gmt":"2020-06-30T02:31:51","slug":"100719_eleu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pidf.org\/100719_eleu\/","title":{"rendered":"\u02bbEleu Conference Highlights FCIL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The 2019 Native Hawaiian Early Childhood Education Consortium Conference took place this month, bringing together Hawaiian organizations INPEACE, Keiki O Ka \u02bb\u0100ina, and Partners in Development Foundation (PIDF).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Eleu is a collective of five early childhood education agencies: \u2018Aha P\u016bnana Leo, ALU LIKE, Inc., Institute for Native Pacific Education and Culture (INPEACE), Keiki O Ka \u2018\u0100ina Family Learning Centers (KOKA), and PIDF. \u2018Eleu believes by advocating together with one voice, they can ensure that the children and communities of Hawai\u02bbi will continue to flourish.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#8217;s theme was Ku and Ku\u02bbe Resistence and Resilience, with a focus on historical trauma as it relates to recent events affecting our Native Hawaiian community.
