The American Savings Bank (ASB) ” Dream Team” paid a visit to our Kupa \u02bbAina Natural Farming Project last month as part of their “Seeds of Service” initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ASB volunteers and their families helped to lay pipe in the diversified crops area, cut lau in one of the nurseries, amd paint the foundation for a new farm mural, to be painted by 808 Urban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Located on the Windward side of O\u02bbahu, Kupa \u02bbAina seeks to help develop sustainable food production models for Hawai\u02bbi nei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project utilizes a combination of Korean Natural Farming techniques and indigenous Hawaiian methods to create a practice that is uniquely Hawaiian and respectful of the land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
