{"id":4437,"date":"2014-11-13T05:56:00","date_gmt":"2014-11-13T10:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pidf.org\/\/?p=4437"},"modified":"2020-08-27T18:02:36","modified_gmt":"2020-08-27T22:02:36","slug":"spirit-of-fall-at-tutu-and-me-traveling-preschool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pidf.org\/spirit-of-fall-at-tutu-and-me-traveling-preschool\/","title":{"rendered":"Spirit of Fall at T\u016bt\u016b and Me Traveling Preschool"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In the spirit of Fall, T\u016bt\u016b and Me \u201cTeam Waipa\u201d of O\u2018ahu visited Aloun Farms with their Papak\u014dlea and Wai\u2018anae sites in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keiki and caregivers were entertained with a short cartoon presentation from \u201cBroc the Broccoli\u201d who explained the importance of local farming in the State of Hawai\u2018i. Following the presentation, everyone boarded the Aloun Farm&#8217;s hayride which took us on a tour of Aloun&#8217;s pumpkin patches, sunflower and corn fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the completion of our adventurous hayride, we all made our way to the pumpkin patches where each keiki could pick a pumpkin to take home. No one left empty-handed and the keiki had fun hand picking their own pumpkins.
