In Hawai\u02bbi, the Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) communities are the hardest hit by the virus, largely because many \u02bbohana live in multigenerational homes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/vimeo.com\/502003693\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s why the Partners in Development Foundation partnered with the <a href=\"https:\/\/health.hawaii.gov\/coronavirusdisease2019\/\">Department of Health<\/a> to minimize the impact and spread of Covid-19 with <a href=\"https:\/\/pidf.org\/covidresponse\/\">Open Arms Harbor<\/a>, an iso-qurantine hotel that provides a safe and compassionate place for healing, with staff who perform daily wellness checks, meals, and case management care to connect guests with resources within the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To support our efforts or for more information on Covid-19 response and resources, visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/pidf.org\/covidresponse\/\">Covid Response<\/a> page.
